Long before LLV Club became known for its immersive, community-driven adult travel experiences, its origins were rooted in something far more personal: a partnership defined by curiosity, trust, and shared values. For founders and life partners Claudia and Pepe Aguirre, the journey into the positive lifestyle space was never about chasing an industry trend. It began with years spent working side by side in the hotel and conventions sector, years that shaped their intuition for hospitality, people, and culture.
Their introduction to this world came unexpectedly. While managing corporate events, one of the properties Pepe worked with hosted a private takeover catering to a niche adult community. “It opened our eyes,” Claudia says. “We saw people who were confident, friendly, respectful, and simply enjoying a space where they could be themselves.” The experience was far from the stereotypes often attached to the topic. Instead, it showed them a glimpse of a community built on communication and trust.
As newlyweds at the time, the exposure sparked conversations between them about boundaries, identity, and the social pressures that shape how adults express themselves. Pepe remembers bringing Claudia a dress for her birthday and inviting her to visit a lifestyle club with him, adding gently, “If you don’t like it, we’ll leave right away.” The moment was small but meaningful. It reflected the mutual respect that would later define their business.
Walking into that club for the first time was a turning point. Claudia expected uncertainty; instead, she found warmth. “People were incredibly friendly,” she says. “Everyone was talking, laughing, welcoming. It was nothing like what people imagine.” They began attending occasional themed nights, meeting couples from all professions, entrepreneurs, physicians, executives, men, and women who simply enjoyed a community where judgment was absent and self-expression was celebrated.
The more they observed, the more they realized something deeper: there was room for greater structure, higher hospitality standards, and a more thoughtful approach to the experience. When the travel industry shifted dramatically after September 11 disrupted their corporate work, the couple made a decision that would change their lives. “We pitched the idea to a hotel we knew well,” Pepe says. “They trusted us, and that became our first event.” It wasn’t glamorous. It was survival, but it worked.
From that single takeover, the LLV Club was born. Over the years, Claudia and Pepe’s personal values continued to shape the heart of the business. Their commitment to safety, inclusivity, and ethical communication became the foundation for everything they built. They introduced guidance sessions for first-time attendees, trained host couples to support newcomers, and emphasized boundaries and consent long before those conversations became mainstream. “The goal is never to pressure anyone,” Claudia says. “It’s to create a space where people feel comfortable expressing who they are.”
Their relationship, too, has evolved alongside the company. Running a global events business requires constant travel, long hours, and complex logistics, but it has also reinforced the strength of their partnership. Their roles complement one another. Pepe drives operations and strategy; Claudia brings a nurturing presence to the community experience. “We support each other deeply,” Pepe says. “This works because we work as a team.”
